It’s been a busy month. In the last two weeks I’ve changed the oil in both the family vehicles, installed a stereo in my truck, repaired my lawnmower so I could cut that first fresh spring grass (okay, weeds), and I’ve been working with my 5 year old son on his reading skills. Come to think of it, I also did some plumbing work, re-installed the operating system on my home theater PC and probably a dozen other small projects. My wife lovingly calls me a jack of all trades. I was thinking about this when reading the first round of hardware reviews on the recently launched AMD 890GX chipset. There was a reason I was immediately fond of this new platform… like me, it is a jack of all trades.
