During the last few months, there has been a rash of blog posts cropping up left and right about local affiliate marketing.  There have been good ones and bad ones and then all the guest posts by Dennis Yu .  All of that aside, if you are an affiliate blogger then you owe it to yourself to write one of these bad boys.  Here’s how it is done… 1. Tell your readers how there is a whole new world of affiliate marketing right in their backyard, where they can be their own boss and not have to worry about the big bad networks and advertisers scrubbing all of their leads

Use Lights and Magnifiers for Making Jewelry

I’ve been making beaded jewelry for well over five years now but about six months ago I started to notice that I was having a hard time seeing some of the smaller details and holes in my beads and clasps. I went to the eye doctor a few weeks ago and now I have

Photo Hunt "Purple"

Here’s the PhotoHunt from April 18th, the theme is Pruple. This is Kathy she is a very special person in my life! Back in September she was going through a tough time, and as a bonding activity with her granddaughter they went and got purple bangs! Building an HTPC on a Budget (part 2)

A hardware roundup – The Mainstream/Mid Level Build! As stated in the first part of this blog series, I have seen different sites put together a list of potential HTPC hardware for budgets under $1000 USD.  While many of these sites are showcasing some nice systems, I think there are multiple ways to approach this project.  As such, I put together my own list for a potential HTPC build while offering some options to hit different price points — entry level, mainstream/mid level and higher end systems — each less than $1000 USD.   In part one , I covered the basic entry level system.  It served as a starting point for a system that could be easily upgraded.  This time, I want to look at some upgrades we can do to the entry level system to enhance the features/functions of the HTPC that make it more of a mainstream system. So what can you expect from a mainstream HTPC build?  It should be able to easily handle all the same tasks as the entry level build and more.  With the mainstream system, we can add Blu-ray playback, transcoding content for portable devices, streaming content to other devices (other PCs, extenders, etc.) and TV tuning functionality.  I would like to point out, these are just guideposts to provide a frame of reference for feature sets, functions and price points.  Some features may be more important than others to you as the reader.  Therefore, you may want to consider changing individual components to better meet your needs.  I am listing some optional equipment for your consideration.  I have tried to note component choices that are unchanged from the entry build and those that are upgrades.

That Old Bag – Erotica (1992).Exclusive Masters At Work mix

I won’t go on about how terrible, irredeemably awful her current product is (I wouldn’t even call it music any more) but suffice to say that some people should – at some point – realise that they’ve said all they had to say, don’t need any more money, and just retire. Unfortunately, this increasingly-crusty old bag is still going strong. I prefer to ignore the adoptions, divorces and facelifts and focus myself on 1992 and this amazing release.
